I started rebuilding this site on Christmas Day, once everyone had gone to bed. One of my first ships of 2026.

I wanted to keep the pixelated look that Serge designed last year, but with a throwback to the early days of my career… WordPress in the late 90s, and the K2 theme.

Last year I built out the Suspended Kubric theme with Astro, but it never felt quite retro enough. The K2 sidebar hits different.

To lean into the old school vibe, I’ve added an archive, blogroll, visitor counter, badges, and a guestbook. The hit counter and guestbook aren’t hooked up yet, and I’m still missing pages for Projects, Talks, and Uses. But those are next on the list.

People say blogs are dead. This site’s unfinished. But honestly, it’s mostly for me.

I’ve deleted a lot of old posts. Fresh start.
